Captain President Dhlamini-Chairman
Master of Business Administration (Management College of S.A.), Diploma in Adult Education (UNISWA), Diploma in Aviation Safety Management (IATA); Line Check Captain/Instructor Pilot Qualification (USAIRWAYS); FAA Airline Transport Pilot Certificate (Licence) and several other certificates in Aviation Management.
Captain Dhlamini is the Accountable Manager for the Aviation Business at Eskom. He is an Airline Transport Pilot by profession having flown Lijubantsendzele (FK28) and Fokker 100 while Chief Pilot for the Royal Swazi National Airways. He boasts of over 14, 000 hours flying experience, and brings with him 37 years of experience in the aviation industry, having worked for Swaziland Airlink as a Chief Pilot/Flight Operations Manager and later becoming General Manager, as well as serving at senior level at the South African Civil Aviation Authority .He is currently Board Member for the Air Traffic Navigation Services of South Africa. Captain Dhlamini is not new at SWACAA as he served in the previous SWACAA Board of Directors where he was a member of the Finance and Investment Committee.
Mrs Thandeka Dlamini
Chartered Accountant South Africa-CA (SA), Post Graduate Diploma in Auditing (UNISA); Honours Bachelor of Accounting Science/ Certificate in Theory of Accounting (UNISA); Bachelor of Commerce-Accounting (University of Swaziland); Diploma in Commerce (UNISWA).
Mrs Dlamini is Head of Operations at Standard Bank. She was an Associate Director at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) before joining the banking sector. She is a member of the Swaziland Institute of Accountants (SIA) and the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA). She has a wealth of experience in financial reporting, risk management as well as financial control management across various business sectors both locally and internationally.
Mrs Nokwazi Mhlanga-Mathabela
MSc International Economics and Public Policy (Cardiff, UK); BA Social Science with majors in Economics and Political Science (UNISWA).
Ms. Nokwazi Mhlanga-Mathabela is currently the acting Director Response leadership at NERCHA. She has led the implementation of HIV response Strategies, mobilised resources for the national HIV response and has extensive experience in monitoring, evaluation and research. Previously, Mathabela worked for the Ministry of Economic Planning and Development in Swaziland as a Senior Macroeconomist.
Mr. Joseph Waring
Master of Laws (LLM) in Banking, Corporate and Finance Law (Fordham University School of Law, New York)
Candidate for Diploma in Advanced Corporate and Securities Law (UNISA, Pretoria 2009); BA Law, LLB (UNISWA)
Mr Joseph Waring is an Attorney, Conveyancer and Notary Public with the firm of Waring Attorneys in Mbabane. He has extensive experience in law, having practised as an Attorney in Swaziland for 17 years. He represents a wide array of corporate clients, such as all the commercial banks in Swaziland including the Central Bank of Swaziland. He has also advised and acted as lead Council in the listing of several securities on the Swaziland Stock Exchange.
He has sat on many Boards and is currently the Chairman of the Losses Committee in the Ministry of Finance.
He is a Rotarian and Chairman of the Salvation Army Advisory Board.
MSc Fiscal Studies (University Of Bath, UK); BA Social Science (UNISWA)
Ms Nokuthula Dlamini works as Principal Officer in the Ministry of Finance. She has enormous experience in Economics and Fiscal issues. She is not new at SWACAA as she served in the previous SWACAA Board of Directors where she was the Chairperson of the Finance and Investment Committee. She has received in service training on Macroeconomic Management and Fiscal issues from the IMF Institute amongst other trainings. She is also a Board Member of the Sincephetelo MVA Fund.
Mr Douglas Litchfield
Private Pilot Licence; Certificate in Senior Aviation Management; Air Traffic Control; Flight Dispatcher; Personnel Licencing; Project Formulation and Management.
Mr Douglas Litchfield works for the Ministry of Public Works and Transport as Chief Transportation Coordinator. He has worked as Director Civil Aviation in the same Ministry and was once a representative of Swaziland in the ICAO Council in Montreal, Canada.
MSc in Airport Planning and Management (Loughborough University, UK), Higher TEC Diploma Electrical and Electronics (Oldham College, UK), Diploma Electrical and Electronics (Fanshaw College, Canada)
Mr Solomon Dube is the Director General of the Authority, a position he has held since 2009.He started his career at Matsapha International Airport in the Electronics Department in charge of navigational aids instruments. Over the years he has risen from the ranks and was seconded to the Ministry of Economic Planning and Development as a Senior Engineer Aviation under the Project Management Unit (PMU), which was tasked with the Millennium Projects under which the King Mswati III International Airport was designed and constructed.
